Mat Atugon


Mat Atugon is a professional and veteran A-list actor and producer in the Cameroon Film Industry (CFI) and has featured in many popular movies such as Sister-in-Law, African Man, Stubborn Daughter, My American Wife, Kamwood Comedy Show, all directed and produced by Abraham Takoh's Cameroon Kamwood Entertainment.
Mat Atugon was the pioneer President of the Actors Guild of Cameroon Film Industry USA, Co-produced The Cameroon Academy (SONNAH) Awards. He acted in The Storm directed by Obed Joe and produced by Emmanuel Takusi's Zonetak Studios. He also co-produced and acted in Victimized directed by Ephraim Chiejina. He played the lead actor in Blaise Sitchet's movie Seeking Asylum.
He also acted in four recent movies: Dark Sunshine, Kiss of Death both directed by Musing Derick and produced by Ala Leo with Edith Pikwa as EP; Welcome To America directed by Elvis Efamba and produced by Clovis Ebage, Crazy in Live directed and produced by Blaise Sitchet, and Double Wahala directed and produced by Obed Joe.
Mat Atugon known as UNCLE MAT by most is a former Lecturer of Physics and Mathematics at Universities of Yaounde and Buea Cameroon. Currently a Database Engineer living in Maryland USA. Married and father of four.
